Happy Financial Literacy Month, everyone!
And happy official first issue of the new and improved Work Your Magia - now called “Jefa in Training - La Hoja”.
I’m so excited for this relaunch!
In today’s post, I’m going to be highlighting some of my favorite Latina trailblazers who have a gift for all things money-related. Making money, investing money, managing money, etc.
Porque?
Because I believe the secret to creating generational wealth is by overcoming what so many of us struggle with as first gen, women and underrepresented individuals - our scarcity mindset. We want to make more money, we need to make more money, yet most of us avoid seeing our personal and business financial advisers like the plague.
The reasons for our mindset are many. Trauma and lack of access to resources are just a start.
For me? It was remembering how people with money treated my mom and in turn, making me feel like we didn’t deserve to sit at their table. It wasn’t until I began to listening to podcasts about money trends, reading books about living like millionaires and meeting inspirational women who did indeed have similar backgrounds to mine - that I saw what was possible.
Having more money means being able to create more of an impact.
Read that again.
Having more money means being able to create more of an impact.
Healing our mindset will not happen overnight, but as your Hada Madrina 🧚, I’d love to share some of the thought leaders in this space that I follow to get you started!
