We’re halfway through 2022 - where did the time go?
Sliding into your inbox because it’s been awhile - but I promise it’s with good reason.
After I completed the first leg of my book tour in May, I realized how much my business has shifted since releasing Jefa in Training - and for the first time in two years, I knew I had to sit down and be my own client. A restructure of my business was necessary in order to create roadmap for sustainable growth.
And now that we’ve approached the halfway mark of the year and I’ve completed my mid-year check-in, I’m excited to share the changes with you.
But first, I want to share with you how I approach my mid-year check-ins in case you want to sit down with your CEO today (even if that’s yourself), to see how you’ll tackle the rest of 2022.
Take a step backwards: Before we set goals for the next six months, take note of every milestone accomplished in the last six months. Then, break down the strategy you used to reach those milestones. Save these tools for the next step.
Look to the future: Write down your growth goals for the next six months and analyze what has worked in the past based on the last six months. Take some notes from successful strategies used on Q1 and Q2, and/or make a plan to bring in some new skills if you need additional support (outsource, hire a consultant, take a class, etc).
Readjust your offerings if needed: A lot can happen in six months - your services and products don’t need to stay the same forever if they aren’t working for you. Be sure to adjust your pricing based on your capacity, the state of the world (aka inflation), and whatever else you need to consider.
Touch base with your community: This is also the time of year I love getting feedback from clients. Am I giving them the support they need? Are they in need of another service or product I can create for the next quarter or year? Are they feeling valued and appreciated?
Get out of your comfort zone: Take a break, pick up a new creative hobby, do something to help you get out of your day to day activities. This will help you feel reenergized and get new creative ideas flowing in a different way!
With all of that being said, YOUR BUSINESS HADA MADRINA has leveled up - so that she can help YOU level up too.
Say hello to my new website - designed my amazing client, Karen Khoun!
You can now seamlessly:
Hire me for business strategy and author development sessions
Contact me for media, partnership and speaking opportunities.
I’m also introducing 5 ways to work together:
90-min Adelante! Sessions: These are one-off sessions with creatives and entrepreneurs who need a check-in while they are strategizing for the next quarter, building a community, launching a new product or service or in the midst of a pivot. You will leave this session with frameworks you can use to help you problem solve as well as solutions you can implement immediately.
Author Development: Jefa in Training sold 2,500+ copies in the first month, was featured in outlets like Telemundo, MiTu, and I've acquired multi-thousand dollar speaking engagements due to the thought leadership I've developed as an author. Now I can help you do the same!
The COO Package: A 3-month minimum commitment. This is for you if you're looking for a longer term partnership in which I'm not just your coach, but I'm also integrating myself as a member of your team. The package includes 8 monthly hours of strategy and execution, email support and exclusivity.
The Hada Madrina Package: 4-hourly business development sessions at a discounted rate. This is for you if you’re not looking for a COO, but still want strategy, accountability and a personalized business roadmap for the quarter.
La Jefa On Call: Do you need a part-time partnerships or communications director while you scale? Do you need someone to hire a Community Manager or Customer Support Team Member? If you're not looking for a monthly or hourly commitment and just need a one-off project, let's chat!
Stay tuned for the next issue of La Hoja, coming to you on Monday, July 18th at 11AM PST - all about the ins and outs of pitching yourself.
Until then!
xx
